Also available are indexes of Ft. Wayne Land Office Entries 1823 - 1852 and LaPorte - Winamac Land Office Entries 1833 - 1855. These name indexes to the purchasers of public land at the Fort Wayne and LaPorte-Winamac land offices were generated from computerized databases compiled from the original tract books at the State Archives. The name indexes include only the names of purchasers, with a single instance of each specific name. Fuller information on individual purchases can be obtained from the State Archives.
