When Anne Rodick first started doing research at the Indiana State Archives she quckly identified a problem with the lack of indexes and finding aids available for genealogists. She decided to do something about it and approached the Friends of the Archives about a volunteer program.

Though special projects had been conducted previous to this, Anne was the inspiration behind our ongoing program. She started volunteering in 1991 and has worked on a variety of projects over the last seventeen years.

Anne was born in Kentucky, but grew up in Toledo, Ohio where she remained until her second year at the University of Toledo.
